This week: New York City
I took this photo on an unusually warm day in October last year. As you can see, the leaves were lacking their usual autumn colors but we were thankful for the sunshine.
This was our view from the top of Belvedere Castle. I’m a big fan of castles and I’ll admit I got way too excited when I saw the signs for this while strolling through Central Park. So what if it was only built less than 100 years ago and has absolutely no connections to royalty! It’s a great spot in the park. In Italian, Belvedere means “beautiful view” or “panormaic view” and I’m pretty sure we can all agree that it lives up to its name.
